During my trying and difficult time in prison in 2010 as a prisoner on remand, i engaged the prison welfare officer on the need of prisoners having quite time of personal reflection to help their spiritual growth. Space was allocated which later we established a chapel that to date has impacted many lives and salvation testimonies shared. The power of worship breaks chains.
CHALAPI-UG has established prison chapels in different prisons that church visiting ministers have used for joint fellowships. Over the years, inmates have desired music instruments and it has remained unfilled. This year’s Christmas gift for at least this one prison where i personally encountered Jesus and the vision to establish CHALAPI-UG, it’s my humble appeal to our well-wishers and friends to join me meet this cause.
