Our supported bee farmers joined in the celebration to commemorate the World Bee Day for kasese district after the national event that was celebrated on the 20th of May that is globally recognized as the World Bee Day.
The celebration overall objective is to acknowledge the role of bees for the ecosystem for a healthy planet.

CHALAPI-UG under this project has so far donated 540 beehives since 2018 to support ex-prisoners and families of serving inmates as part of economic empowerment for livelihood.
